CULOE DE SONG JOINS KINETIC P ON TUESDAY 13TH OCTOBER at 8PM

Born in a small town, Eshowe, which is based in northern Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. His career in music production began in early 2007 when he mastered his skills in music production utilities & he was able land his first major project on Black Coffee’s second offering. The piece was given the name “100 Zulu warriors” and it carried a taste of Black Coffee’s sound since he made the final mix to suite the style of his album.

NOW the International DJ/Producer Culoe who is now signed to labels such as Ocha Records and Offering will be joining Kinetic P for some midweek spinning...lock in and lock on!!!!

Culoe De Song’s music draws inspiration from the African heights overseeing the ethnic elements of the world. He describes his music as Afro-Beat that is fundamentally inspired by Deep House sound from around the world. Afro-Beat & Deep House make up Culoe’s definition of soul, Jazz, Fusion, Asian & Tropical fill that lies in the centre of his heart.

 

In 2008, Culoe De Song signed under Soulistic Music, having tracks like “The Bright Forest”, “Super Afro” and “100 Zulu Warriors Remix” released under this record label, founded by Black Coffee. Also in 2009, he got to share the decks alongside heavy weights such as Rocco, who gave praise to Culoe’s music & looks forward to work on something with the young man in the near future. Adding to that, the SAMC (South African Music Conference) came about and Culoe shared the line up with the likes of Manoo, Rocco & the local legends, DJU including Black Coffee. The same year, he was booked to be one of the worldwide participants to attend the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, Spain and performing there too.

 

2009 is the year for Culoe De Song. In March his song “The Bright Forest” was signed to Innervisions record label in Germany inevitably receiving a lot of love and admiration from global deep house music community big names such as Louie Vega, Manoo, Osunlade, etc
