To those who don't yet know him, he is an international DJ/Producer based in South Africa, a member of the unfashionable urban soul trio "SHANA" in South Africa; he is one of the few Club DJs in the country who genuinely understands the precise function of a music deejay: he does not simply re-mix songs; he re-interprets their previously unimagined musical possibilities and therefore quietly reclaims the composition as his own...some people simply know him as a ONE-ARMED South African DJ who spun records for a continuous 60 hours in a an attempt to break the world record or the dance music DJ, who lost his left hand in an accident aged 13 while at pushfm and around the world deep and soulful house music community he's known as the producer of hit records such as "Superman" feat Bucie, "Crazy" feat Thiwe, "We Are One" feat Hugh Masekela, "Juju" feat Zakes Bantwini, "Gardens of Eden" feat. Zonke, Trip To Lyon and produced remixes of several songs, turning some of them into smash hits around the world.

 

He founded Soulistic Music aiming to continue in the path set by the legendary record labels such as Yoruba Records, GOGO Music, Real Tone, Innervisions and many more of its nature. The four-year-old label has had quiet a number of digital and vinyl releases under its name with different labels such as Real Tone, Awaking Monster, Innervisions, GOGO Music and Offering Recordings. Soulistic Music is by statistics one of the best selling and most loved label in this digital downloads era, hence the artist are continually being invited to perform in various events around the globe. The labels artists have been performing in big events to crowds as big as 10 000 alongside industry veterans such as Louie Vega, Quentin Harris, Karizma, Rocco, Manoo, Abicah Soul, Ralf Gum... and South African local djs such as DJ Christos, DJ Fresh, Oskido, Vinny Da Vinci... the list is endless.

 

He's also a philanthropist'; founded The Dj Black Coffee Foundation which aims at particularly raising funds for the destitute and disabled society of South Africa.

 

He's a South African Music Award winner and one of the busiest Djs in the world!
